Biography

Prior to co-founding Komari & Alkhasoneh LLP, Christopher Komari garnered extensive experience while residing abroad, representing individuals and institutions from Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. His frequent exposure to international stakeholders and diverse cultures underpins his tailored, client-first approach. Commencing his cross-border corporate training, Christopher assisted issuers, shareholders, companies, and financial institutions with general securities and corporate matters, including corporate governance, initial public offerings, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, JV agreements, and sales transactions.

As outside general counsel, he advises emerging growth and smaller reporting companies on day-to-day contract matters and provides general counsel services. He regularly represents shareholders and founding members in their entity formation and seed-stage investments using convertible notes, SAFEs, and other financial instruments, laying the groundwork for the public offering process. Christopher's transactional guidance spans several key sectors, including Banking & Finance, Facility Services, Renewable Energy, Emerging Technology, Information Technology, and Real Estate.

In addition to his corporate practice, Christopher maintains a substantial immigration practice, serving both small and large companies with their complex immigration needs. At Komari & Alkhasoneh LLP, he specializes in navigating the intricate landscape of employment visas, such as H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, and TN, providing strategic solutions that facilitate the employment of foreign nationals in industries ranging from technology to healthcare. His comprehensive service offering ensures that companies remain compliant with immigration laws while securing the talent necessary for their success.

Apart from his employment and investor immigration practice area, Christopher is a dedicated removal defense immigration attorney, passionately advocating for individuals facing immigration court proceedings. With over a decade of experience in immigration law, specializing in removal defense, his expertise is a beacon of hope for those fleeing persecution. Christopher’s proficiency extends to complex applications under Section 42B (Cancellation of Removal for Non-Permanent Residents) and 42A (Cancellation of Removal for Certain Permanent Residents), where he has been instrumental in preventing the removal of numerous individuals entrenched in the U.S. His expertise in waivers has been crucial for clients facing inadmissibility issues, securing waivers for unlawful presence, certain crimes, and misrepresentation. Christopher’s approach is characterized by empathy, meticulous preparation, and a relentless pursuit of justice.

A respected figure in the immigration law community, Christopher is renowned for his strategic thinking, persuasive advocacy, and unwavering commitment to his clients. His reputation, built on a foundation of successful outcomes, stems from rigorous case analysis, creative legal strategies, and a commanding courtroom presence.
